Face of an Angel

Once in a while...something so pure comes across your path and reminds you of the best kind of innocence. This is Erica. I met this little beauty today and something in my heart just leapt for joy. It was like a kiss and a warm hug from my Heavenly Father. I couldn't pass up the chance to keep a token of our meeting as I asked her grandmother for permission to photograph her.

Thank you God for little ones that show your love and light to a dark world. Help us to love them and care for them just as you intended.

Matthew 18:1-6
About that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, "which of us is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?" Jesus called a small child from among them. Then he said, "I assure you, unless you turn from your sins and become as little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. Therefore, anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. And anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf is welcoming me. But if anyone causes one of these little ones who trust in me to lose faith, it would be better for that person to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone tied around the neck."

The truthful words spoken by Jesus Christ. We can learn so much from children and we ought to do our best to cultivate and nurture faith in their lives as they grow.
